Module III: Carbon Neutrality, Net Zero Pathways & GHG Management

Participants will gain a nuanced understanding of the differences between Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero, while also mastering the essential strategies necessary to achieve both objectives.

This module explores the principles and requirements for achieving and demonstrating Carbon Neutrality, evolving towards Net Zero commitments, and ensuring compliance with internationally recognised frameworks such as ISO 14068-1, Science-Based Targets (SBTs) methodologies, IWA 42, the EcoVerify programme, and alignment with the ongoing ISO 14060.

Additionally, students will delve into GHG reduction and removal strategies, focusing on system upgrades, emissions reductions, and removals. By integrating these elements, participants will develop a structured approach to sustainability, ensuring transparency and credibility in Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero claims.
