  • Terms and definitions of related standards: ISO 14064-1:2018, GHG protocol, Corporate Value Chain Standard (scope 3)
  • Scope and Principles. – GHG boundaries (scope 1, 2 and 3)
  • Quantification of GHG emissions and removals. (Methods for quantifying and reporting direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions within organisations).
  • Methodology to identify, evaluate and select significant indirect emissions from the value chain.
  • GHG inventory quality management including information management and procedures.
  • GHG report preparation.

The curriculum emphasised the fundamentals of GHG emissions—covering scopes 1, 2, and 3—and introduced advanced methodologies for quantifying both direct and indirect emissions. This hands-on experience enabled team members to develop a GHG inventory and implement quality management procedures, enhancing the accuracy and transparency of their sustainability reporting.
